This is not a necklace for shrinking violets!!
A bold, one-of-a-kind triple-strand beaded statement necklace / chest piece designed with scale, rhythm and unapologetic presence. Three graduated strands create a substantial sweep across the chest, while the changing bead sizes and contrasting upper sections give the piece architectural structure rather than simply more-more-more.
The dominant beads were and are sold as Yellow Tiger’s Eye, although “yellow” hardly tells the whole story. Their coloration moves through warm golden yellow, ochre, mustard, amber, burnt orange, caramel, cognac and earthy brown. The others have areas of olive, olivine and mossy green appearing throughout. Darker chocolate-brown and near-black markings add depth and emphasize the natural variation within the stones. Depending upon the light, some beads read distinctly golden while others lean toward orange, yellow or warm tobacco.
Components include "yellow" tiger's eye beads, wavy gold tone potato chip spacers, brown-green-gold glitter beads, mid-Century vintage brass beads, vintage copper bicones, yellow & olivine agate barrel beads, gold tone metal curled rope spacers and faceted orange aurora borealis crystals. Closes with an xl fancy gold tone lobster claw clasp. If requested I can add an extender chain free of charge.
The necklace measures approximately 26" in length and is non-adjustable. Designed as a substantial statement piece, it sits low on the décolletage/chest and was intentionally created for dramatic visual impact. This piece does have some weight so please know your tolerance for denser pieces before you purchase.
