Gemstone Pendant Tribal African Bronze Benin Lost Wax Jaguar Talisman

The rustic ness of this OOAK Art to Wear Rare Benin Bronze Jaguar Statement Pendant contrasts beautifully with the other items in my collection. This particular Exotic Wild Sculpted Cat Pendant is made with the intensive and laborious lost wax technique and has a rich patina. The greenish areas show some slight oxidation which adds further character to the piece. I preserved the finish with a coating of metal wax to further protect the metal. The Jaguar or Leopard has a hand sculpted bail which I etched, painted and sealed with a high gloss glaze. A 20" Jute or Hemp Rope supports the Men's Leopard Talisman which is finished with sculpted end caps and rustic bronze hardware (lobster claw clasp). This Rocker Chic Necklace - African Chest Piece is from the Atelier of Kat Kouture.  A great piece of Eccentric Runway Jewelry or sported as a Hip Hop variant!
