5” Sculptural Tribal Drop Earrings — Mixed Metal Relic Composition

These one-of-a-kind sculptural drops began as a question—and resolved into something far more deliberate.

Anchored by rare Tibetan brass repoussé beads (with their distinctive top-set orientation), this composition unfolds vertically in a curated sequence of mixed metals and global elements. Brushed silver tone discs, African wood and aluminum beads, Turkmen-inspired ethnic components, and faceted crystals in black and smoky topaz tones are punctuated with bronze aurora borealis rhinestone rondelles and gold tone tribal spacers.

The result is a richly layered, artifact-like presence—textural, grounded, and quietly commanding.

Despite their bold scale (5" in length), they remain comfortable enough for extended wear. Suspended from hand-formed copper ear wires, each movement catches light and reveals a different facet of the piece.
