Born from reinvention, this one-of-a-kind statement pendant began as an unsold ring and was transformed into an entirely new work of wearable art.
A richly patterned ruby zoisite slab was set into hand-sculpted material, then individually painted and glossed to create a polished, dimensional finish. A ruby zoisite cabochon and four rows of sparkling rhinestones further embellish the composition, adding structure, brilliance, and a dramatic burst of color.
Six strands of fuchsia and silver aurora borealis rhinestones cascade from the bottom of the pendant, bringing movement, light, and theatrical presence to the design.
The pendant measures approximately 3.5" wide by 5" high without the draped rhinestones and approximately 3.5" wide by 8" high including the fringe. It is suspended from a fine 25" silver-tone chain and fastens with a small lobster-claw clasp.
For comfort and protection, the back of the pendant is finished with black patent-leather upholstery material to help prevent chafing or snagging from the stone and embellishments.
Despite its dramatic scale, the piece is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
