This one-of-a-kind statement necklace began life as two separate pieces—a necklace and a ring that never quite found their home. Rather than letting beautiful materials languish, they were thoughtfully reimagined into an entirely new work of wearable art.
The dramatic pendant features a rough jasper slab layered with a polished rustic cabochon in rich shades of red, charcoal, and gray. Two sweeping rows of sparkling rhinestones frame the stone, creating a striking contrast between rugged natural textures and brilliant glamour. The pendant measures approximately 4" x 3" and has a substantial presence with moderate weight.
The pendant is suspended from a 21" non-adjustable necklace composed of warm red agate jasper rondelles. Citrine aurora borealis rhinestone rondelles separate each bead, while ornate copper filigree beads and gold aurora borealis rhinestone rondelles frame the pendant. An asymmetrically placed rhinestone ball with additional copper accent beads provides an unexpected couture detail. The necklace is finished with gold-tone findings and a secure lobster claw clasp.
