The necklace features large “Tibetan Amber” beads, which are faux amber resin, combined with Tibetan capped resin beads, African batik zebu bone, faux scrimshaw beads, and silver-toned accents. At the center hangs an imported vintage pendant believed to be from Afghanistan or Pakistan, detailed with inlaid red glass traditionally associated with protection from the evil eye.
Remarkably, the pendant retains its original glass elements and dangling components—an increasingly uncommon survival for a vintage piece of this type and age.
The mix of fiery red-orange resin, carved bone, graphic black-and-white beadwork, and intricate silver-toned metal gives the necklace a powerful tribal-luxe presence. Bold, exotic, slightly dangerous, and completely singular.
