Papua New Guinea Shell Chest Piece - Tribal Prestige

The indigenous people of Papua New Guinea made this piece and I am selling it as I thin out my tribal collection.  This lightweight and comfortable chest piece simply slips on over your head.  The back is a beige-tan twine or string that has been crocheted or macramed.  Fourteen strands of shell and glass tube beads comprise the necklace portion which measures 25" from the very back to the bottom of the longest strand.  The shells are an off-white to white color.  This is very dramatic and imagine the hours of labor the indigenous people invested in crafting this design.  Proudly presented to you by the Atelier of Kat Kouture.
