Sculpted Rough Quartz Luxury Chest Piece with Draped Chains

This is one of those rare stones that needs almost no embellishment to command attention.

The focal is an extraordinary natural quartz cluster with approximately fifteen distinct points, exceptional clarity, and remarkable brilliance. Multi-point formations of this size are inherently fragile and increasingly difficult to encounter intact, which gives this specimen a particularly unusual presence.

Rather than bury the crystal beneath conventional settings, I treated it as an object of sculpture.

The quartz has been carefully secured within hand-sculpted material, then finished in two metallic gold tones — a true yellow gold alongside a warmer rose/copper gold — to create depth around the natural formation. Fine microglitter was added sparingly to amplify the reflected light, and the sculpted setting was sealed beneath two coats of high-gloss glaze for durability and a polished finish.

The pendant itself measures approximately 6" x 3", making this unapologetically large-scale wearable art.

A substantial gold-tone curb/cable chain supports the quartz, while additional cascading chains create movement and theatrical dimension around the focal. The primary chain has an approximate 9" drop per side and closes with an oversized lobster clasp for additional security.

This is not an everyday necklace.

It is a piece for entrances, occasions, photographs, collectors, and anyone who understands the pleasure of wearing something that borders on sculpture.
