Exotic Tribal Turkmen Chest Piece, Ethnic Amulet Cylinder Statement Pendant, Scrimshaw Beads

Rare and scarce components are featured in this OOAK exotic Turkmen Tribal Ethnic Chest Piece with a Cylinder Amulet whose traditional use was to carry prayers written by an Iman, Sheik or professional text writer.  I understand that this can be opened but I leave this and the liability to the buyer.

The cylinder shows inlaid blue, green and red glass, the latter of which represents or symbolizes blood and serves as a protective function against blood loss, miscarriages and the like.

The meaning of the stones is of greater significance than is the quality of the material.  Pendant measures 8" x 8.5" and has numerous dangles.

The upper portion was designed by me and includes recycled jumbo African blue glass beads, erotic faux scrimshaw* from China (depicting sexual positions and practices), green coral, blue lapis, silver tone daisy spacers and tribal spacers.  The original red plastic beads add authenticity.  Adjusts from 30-33".  19" drop from clasp to dangles.

Closes with a lobster claw clasp and a 3" extender chain.  A great piece for belly dancers or men.

*Not etched but appear to have a decal attached to them.
