This one-of-a-kind statement necklace is built around deliberate contrast: disciplined structure at the neckline, then a full explosion of saturated vibrant yellow stone below.
Two orderly strands of deep teal beads (believe to be Chrysocolla) create a strong architectural frame, interrupted by warm faceted citrine-orange-red toned crystals and ornate gold tone spacer elements. From there, the composition breaks loose into dense clusters of vivid yellow stones — organic, irregular, abundant, and intentionally unruly.
The yellow stones are believed to be dyed howlite or magnesite. Their natural-looking veining gives the surface additional texture and keeps the intense color from reading flat or synthetic. The contrast between cool blue-green-black, molten amber, antique gold, and sunflower yellow gives the piece remarkable visual tension.
At 26" long, the necklace has enough drop to let the lower section move freely across the body while preserving the strong vertical architecture of the upper strands.
