This one-of-a-kind statement necklace begins with discipline and ends in glorious disorder.
The upper portion is structured and architectural, built from two orderly strands of mottled yellow-green agate barrel beads, warm faceted orange-red toned crystals, red round jade accents, oxidized silver-tone tribal elements, silver aurora borealis rhinestone rondelles.and round yellow beads. Then the composition breaks loose into a dense cascade of vivid yellow stones — believed to be dyed howlite or magnesite — creating a deliberately unruly lower section full of movement, texture, and saturated color. Two oversized peach coral branch nuggets and coconut slices separate the top from the bottom sections.
That contrast is the point. The necklace is visually balanced, but emotionally restless: controlled above, exuberant below. The mix of materials gives it an artifact-like quality, somewhere between tribal ornament, found object, and wearable sculpture.
