The oversized focal bead is not only rare and scarce, but quite valuable, too.  This ancient bead is known as a Java Jatim Majapahit Millefiora and the pattern is commonly referred to as "eyes."  Originating in Indonesia, the manufactured age is estimated to be during the 1400's.  The value only goes up.  the focal bead measures 2" x 2" and is flanked by burnished gold tone metal wavy spacers and Moroccan resin beads.  The other components include African glass beads, Asian brass bells, huge red corral nuggets and ornate silver and blue Tibetan resin beads.  Adjusts from 21 to 24" with silver tone hardware, ax xl fancy lobster claw clasp and a 3" extender chain.  This is a rather substantive piece given that the focal bead is glass and dense.  Please know your tolerance for heavier pieces before you purchase.  OOAK Wearable Art from the Atelier of Kat Kouture!
