This two stranded mixed media beaded statement necklace looks as if it is heavy, but I assure you it is not. I tried it on and wore it. Given the design and the fact that it is made to be worn high, the weight is evenly distributed around your neck, not behind your neck. An African lost wax brass mask which measures 4" x 2.75" is the focal point. These are made by local tribal artisans using time tested and honored techniques consisting of sand-dirt molds. The double stranded necklace contains robin's egg blue magnesite, gold aurora borealis rhinestone rondelles, coral, emerald, high-end Tibetan exotic designer beads, African glass recycled beads, turquoise and faceted crystals.
