The indigenous people of New Guinea are sometimes referred to as "the last of the Stone Age people." They have managed to preserve much of their heritage through their hand crafted art. Here is a ceremonial necklace made from shells sewn onto a rope mat. The spiral shells are an orange and cream or white color, while the smaller shells are white. This has a large opening with a shell button and rope eye clasp. Will fit all. If you prefer not to wear this, it is a stunning wall decoration or mounted as a piece of tribal art. You can purchase stands separately. Proudly presented by Kat Kouture. Given the size of this piece, I do need to charge for shipping. Please contact me for a quote before you purchase.
